Based on our initial testing of iOS7 during the Beta period, we have found it to be compatible for music listening, streaming, and Bluetooth audio and streaming.  As iOS7 gains more broader level use among consumers, we will continue to monitor its performance with our products.   --Alpine Electronics

How much are the fees - any POS is going to have fees if it is being updated and maintained.

We use Lightspeed - about $750 a seat to purchase and then a few hundred a year for updates/support etc.
